Every year, PNWBD offers 24 educational meetings in Portland, Eugene, and Medford attended by community members from all over Oregon and SW Washington. The Connections events are managed by local volunteers and include a wide-variety of topics related to living with and managing a bleeding disorder on a daily basis. Topics have included nutrition, mental health, exercise and movement, yoga, Bleeding Disorder Jeopardy, etc. It is an opportunity for families to connect, meet others who live with the same challenges and learn about new and innovative ways to manage their chronic disease. We host 4 Hispanic Connection Meetings throughout the year with the presentation exclusively in Spanish.
