Annual Giving

Pacific Northwest Bleeding Disorders went through a monumental transition to a virtual platform on all events and programs in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PNWBD holds two fundraisers a year to generate funds that go directly toward the overheads of the organization. Both of these events are huge in-person attractions for the community. PNWBD was able to hold the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk virtually in September but the “Shooting for the Stars” Auction that is normally held in October could not take place due to the regulations on social gathering. PNWBD saw a considerable loss of revenue with the changes on both these events.

Despite these challenges, PNWBD has continued to have education available via online platforms and assist in meeting the needs of families who are facing hard times. Now, as we transition back to in-person events, your donation can help us secure the resources we need to bring educational programming to our community members.

Your donation helps PNWBD offer services varying from providing educational materials to a family whose child has recently been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, to supporting families with food vouchers or utilities that are about to be cut off.

Please keep PNWBD in mind when considering your annual giving donations for 2023.
